Personal/Community Ministries
COMMUNITY MINISTRY
There are several areas of community involvement by the Village Chapel church. One is our annual or semi-annual Singspiration. The area churches are invited to send musical representatives to our church for a community sing. There are guest musicians, local musicians, and congregational singing as well. This has been very well attended.
Another project has been the community newsletter. It includes news and announcements about the area churches, Ruritan Club, and Black Fox Elementary school. This is hand-delivered by church members once each month and has been very well-received by the community.
A third area is the annual Thanksgiving service. This is rotated among three of the community churches and helps establish friendly contacts between the various church members
